Today was a pretty dreary day, but starting tomorrow we’re expecting some really nice weather here in Calgary. Perfect weather for the perfect summer drink, a Steigl Radler. Its a mix of beer and grapefruit juice, light, refreshing, perfect for the patio. I am sure many of you have tried this already, but add some flavoured vodka and it just gets better. There isn’t a lot of alcohol content in the beer, I think its about 2.5%, so like I said add some vodka and it just gets better!
Sometimes it is really hard to find at liquor stores and lately has been tough to grab at a lot of bars, its so refreshing and often sold out. So if you can find it at the liquor store, grab some because it’s fairly cheap and since the alcohol content is low, you can have one with lunch or a few in the evening.
I’m looking forward to next weekend when I can have a few drinks in celebration of not having to study math or sentence correction… so here’s hoping the beer easy to find!
